Yeah, that’s not very typical. I’d like to make that point.
The footage is mostly clear until the end where it's much harder to see, but I think it's safe to say the front fell off.
What changes do you suppose they'll make in the next version?
How do you propose they'll tow this out of the environment?

We should privatize the space industry even more!!! What could possibly continue to go wrong?
I'm in no way supportive of privatizing spaceflight, but this ignores the reality of the many, many catastrophic explosions that have occurred among publicly funded rocketry programs. Turns out strapping a capsule to a giant bomb and trying to control it while it explodes is pretty dangerous
SLS didn’t have a failure nearly this bad.
But all the agencies responsible for SLS (NASA, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin) have lengthy histories of engineering and construction of rocket systems and have had their fair share of catastrophies. Blue Origin does not have that history.
I can't believe I'm defending Blue Origin, I think I just threw up in my mouth
the thing is that the space industry was already in the hand of the NASA for like 5 decades and they did not manage to reduce the launch cost as much as spacex did.
Spacex may be so cheap because they aren't profitable.

I wonder how the launch pads handle these. I’d be impressed if there’s anything usable left after that past maybe the concrete pad.
The main cost will be repairing the launch pad. It will take longer than building another rocket.
