Very happy and surprised to see a new release from Era!

The song 'Not You Again' is my favorite so far.

Is it an album of covers? Because it feels like I'm listening to a bunch of 90s hits. The Bandcamp page doesn't say anything about it, and the album isn't on Discogs, so idk if there's any info on the matter.

The song Everything's Gonna Be Alright is a cover of the song from Sweetbox (1997) that goes by the same name and is based on Bach's Air from Orchestral Suite No. 3..

I think that the rest are originals. Not 100% sure. I am surprised by how little information they made available, they just randomly dropped this with no context after almost a decade since the previous one. I ordered the physical album so hopefully it comes with some additional info haha.

From a comment on a pirate forum (of all places): seems that 'Sempire Deo' and 'Time for the Braves' are versions of old songs 'Don't U' and 'The Champions' respectively. 'Not This Time' and 'Freedom' were on the 2022 'The Live Experience'. So only 'The Fallen King', 'Will You Call My Name' and 'Not You Again' are fully new songs.

Very interesting! Thank you a lot for finding and sharing that, I couldn't find any good info myself via online searches.

Slight correction: according to Discogs, Not This Time’ and ‘Freedom’ were included on some editions of ‘The Live Experience’ as a single, for a preview of the upcoming album. So technically they're still new here.

'VIII' has now appeared on Discogs, but doesn't provide any writing credits even for 'Everything's Gonna Be Alright'.

I could see the credits for "Everything’s Gonna Be Alright" in Deezer, but I am not sure about how exactly Deezer determines this: https://www.deezer.com/us/album/951602381
