Cardinal Nest!!

Meant to post this the other day, but we discovered that the cardinal pair that frequents our property has built a lil nest on the lady banks vines against the front of our house - featuring two little eggs!! I managed to sneak this pic while the parents-to-be were grabbing a snack at the patio.
Yay! Keep us updated (when possible without disturbing them of course)!
Of course!! Conveniently, she made the nest right next to the carport window. The window sort of has a screen on the inside, which makes it difficult to see through (and even harder to take a clean picture of), but I can see if mama is sitting on it or not, so we know to steer clear of that side of the house :)
