The advertising cartel coming to your web browser

I've been ramping up the game as well. Now besides adblocks, I do almost all my online reading without javascript, I avoid all big tech and big brands, both online and physically, I plan on not getting any new equipment for at least 5 years, and I also buy less stuff in general

A prime target to fill that system with junk data, me thinks.

Floorp, fennec. F Firefox

Librewolf is pretty legit.

I recently started using the Vivaldi browser, which has reduced my ad-tracking footprint appreciably.

I've been using Zen for work and Waterfox personally. With the right extensions, you never see a single ad.

I thought zen is neat, but then I saw this test about numbers of connections at startup and zen breaks all records for a Firefox based browser.

What does that mean?

That means it calls home to a lot of services.

Shit, really? That sucks, I was really enjoying it. Now it's one more thing to looK into. thanks for the heads-up.
