Conclusion: Embracing a Healing Diet

The phrase “meat heals” isn’t a marketing gimmick—it reflects real-world outcomes supported by nutritional science. The carnivore diet offers a clear, nutrient-dense path to healing by removing inflammatory triggers and fueling the body with everything it needs to repair itself. With the elimination of grains, seed oils, pesticides, and plant toxins, and the inclusion of nourishing animal foods, many find they can finally break free from chronic symptoms that held them back for years.

As more people explore this way of eating, the evidence and the enthusiasm grow. Whether you're looking to support your immune system, heal your gut, reduce inflammation, or simply feel like yourself again, a meat-based approach offers a powerful starting point. In the end, returning to meat as a foundational food source isn’t a trend—it’s a return to what our bodies have always recognized as nourishment.

The website does sell pemmican, so they have a bias, but the article is well written and cited. They don't talk about keto, diabetes, blood glucose, but I think they are trying to be a very basic "this is carnivore" and don't want to overwhelm people.

They sell pemmican, but their reasoning is good - if you're travelling internationally you might need a commercially packaged food to be able to bring it into whatever country (on the plane you can carry home made stuff, but you probably can't make more on holiday for the trip back

I don't think I'd buy them, on the out trip I might take enough homemade stuff, on the trip back I'll eat well the day before

Though some holiday events are really good for pemmican, I took three big pieces of pemmican to Cairns, ate one on an all day rainforest tour which was 12hr from pick up to drop off, ate another during a fishing day which started too early for a cooked breakfast. The third was for a bushwalking day.

If I didn't make it myself, or if I was doing a holiday like that a six pack of their little bars is probably equivalent to two of mine, so $200 for ~4 days independent food

Though according to this https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/travel/carry/meat-dairy-animal/index_en.htm

There is no problem bringing a week or two's worth of pemmican on a European trip

Australia is much more strict, you're limited to up to 1kg of commercially packaged, shelf stable product from a foot and mouth disease free country

That is a good use case. I want some in my go bags.

I would love to see pemmican become a lunch product to kill off other weird meal replacement things like lunchables.

I just ordered the ingredients for my next batch of pemmican — 12kg beef, 5kg tallow, I should have some tallow left over. Food for about 3 to 4 weeks

Well, it's really the body that is amazing and capable of healing itself, if you just simplify the food and stop poisoning it.

Yeah it's not quite right, being properly nourished and not poisoning yourself heals
