Enjoying the sunshine

I didn't knew bats who are notoriously night animal would do this some time.

Flying foxes are weird like that - nocturnal but still active during the day.

Here is an article about that: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5487794/

Excerpt: "It is well known that flying foxes are nocturnal animal, but they are active during daytime hours. The flying foxes performed both solitary and social behaviors besides sleeping. This study revealed that sleeping was the most common behavior that occurred mostly in the late evening... Wing flapping was the most common behavior during noon and early afternoon. The flying foxes in the tropical zone are usually exposed to high temperatures with strong sunlight during daytime. They typically lack sweat glands for cooling the skin surface and reducing body temperature. Therefore, wing flapping is considered to be the thermoregulatory behavior that flying foxes use for controlling their body temperature.
