The European Union is preparing to impose new sanctions on Chinese companies suspected of aiding Russia's military operations. Foreign ministers from EU member states are set to discuss these additional measures on June 15 in Luxembourg. David O'Sullivan, the EU's Special Envoy for Sanctions, has described China as a 'very big problem' for the bloc's sanctions regime against Russia, underscoring the gravity of the situation and the urgent need to monitor economic ties with the country.
