Emilia Clarke Admits She Was 'Absolutely Livid' About Daenerys Fate in 'Game of Thrones' Series Finale

I can understand. I quit watching about midway through season 5 I think.

I’ve never finished the show. I gave up on the last season and cannot be bothered to see it to the end.

Didn't miss anything, last seasons sucked ass, the last one was amazingly bad, like impressive even.

They didn't clear the catering from the sets.

There's a version of that working. The books had a lot of food porn. Starbucks logos on a battlefield ain't it.

Count yourself lucky

Is her character wildly different than the books? Cause I can't think of any other end for her character based on those.

Well, she's even younger.

How the fuck else was her character supposed to end? She had been steadily becoming more and more unhinged and by the time she was essentially nuking King's Landing and killing countless innocent common folks there, it was clear to me she was unfit to lead and had to be stopped. And Jon was the logically best person to make that decision and take action.

Daenyrys was very very obviously on her way to becoming the Mad Queen.

Yeah there's also a bloodline analysis that demonstrates the Targaryens are so inbred she's also more-or-less a female clone of Aerys II.

Doesn't mean she had to like the clown show that led to the conclusion.

Username checks out, hahaha

And I didn't know that particular bit of lore, interesting!
