The Future of Beyond Meat? Why CEO Says Brand Has Been “A Beverage Company in Hiding”

Once a plant-based meat leader, Beyond is now betting on fizzy protein drinks. But what does this mean for the future of vegan burgers?
That is so ridiculous. To me, Beyond looks like a completely different company now, they could've just not kept the name. I don't see how this is going to progress in any helpful way.
It just shows that revolutionary food brands aren't built by startups

I'd drink it. Just a nice additional way to fill up daily protein intake. I do aim towards the highest estimate of 2.35g/kg (1.07g/lb) and any additional way can come handy. Especially for a vegan option, currently easiest way is to relay on animal products, primarily dairy and secondarily meat.
Assuming there actually has more protein in it and isn't just much more expensive marketing trick.
Completely fair. Yeah training is the main reason I'm aiming for high protein intake.
I was just giving a perspective why someone would actually want something like this. Having multiple vegan options available would be kinda good to reduce the reliance on animal based products. Not saying that it isn't already possible, just more options would make it easier.
Can't argue against that mentality in current consumerist driven economy. That's a rather noble goal and more people should most definitely aim towards it.
