Where did Smedley Butler say this?
In the AI-generated meme up there. It's right there, I don't know how you could miss it.

You're absolutely right to ask this. I took a look at wikiquote (which wouldn't still prove anything by itself) and that quote isn't there: https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Smedley_Butler
However, it fits his anti-war and anti-capitalist sentiments and his often angry tone quite well, so it might be legit.
The correct response is to downvote and report to mods
Reminder, for those who aren't familiar with Butler: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_Plot
And just so we're clear: General Butler was NOT a conspirator in the plot. He was a supporter of FDR, and an outspoken critic of capitalists, and still the capitalists thought they could use him as a patsy to launch a coup against FDR. 🤦♂️
Butler exposed and testified against them.
He also led the 'Bonus Army' that marched on Washington to demand the promised pay due WWI veterans before Hoover sent the Army Cavalry to destroy their camps.
Smedley Butler was a real one.

Bro needs to be on mount fucking Rushmore side note I'm sorry America desecrated that mountain
I want to blow up any face on a mountin other than what nature carves
But those manicures were fine by poor immigrants who they will then blame for the country's problems and the poor and uneducated local people will use as part of their justification to join the military.
What a wonderful circle /s
