Thats not how a mousetrap works....

The latch bar holds back the hammer so that it can snap on whatever is eating the bait at the trigger. The way OP has drawn the mechanism doesnt make sense. The hammer is half suspended mid air, the spring is in tension the opposite direction, the latch isnt actually holding anything back but it's loaded into the trigger......

Artist, please, use references.... whatever message was meant to be made here is crippled by the childish understanding of a simple machine that would have taken 10 seconds to find proper references for.
