This image is a close-up anatomical shunga study of female genitalia, and it is one of the most frequently reproduced examples of Edo-period erotic art. Based on the style, calligraphy, and the characteristic use of mirrors and magnification, it is generally attributed to Katsushika Hokusai or his workshop and is associated with the shunga books he produced in the early 19th century.
However, I should note that the exact title is debated. Unlike famous standalone prints, many shunga images circulated in books and albums and were not given unique titles by the artist. Museum catalogues often describe this image rather than provide a historical title.
Some titles:
女陰図 (Inzu / Onna-in zu)
"Illustrations of the Female Genitalia" or "Study of Female Genitalia"
Some collections simply describe it as:
女陰鑑 (Join kagami)
"Mirror of the Female Genitalia" / "Female Anatomy in a Mirror"
I love seeing pictures of kitties
