Needed to look up old posts for some technical support. Man, they are really trying to clean up their decimated image huh?
Thankfully uBlock removed it.
The fakest, lamest, most bot infested way to get all your words scraped by bots without crediting submitters!!!
Reddit introduced an option to hide the post and comment history.
The official reason was to respect and support privacy of their users bla bla.
The unofficial is that the user have a harder time to detect bots.
However there are still work arounds. For example: type the username of the questioning account in the search bar or search engine.
