there appears to be a section in the complex, or an analogy of the complex with a huge city on top and a small underground area with mouths all over the place, and there appear to be still lives that look like theyre the lifeform fellows painted onto the mural.

this could mean Clark has seen the red city, and he's drawn clouds and an outdoorsy section of the complex so maybe the red forest-y section?
