The creator of the acclaimed Apple TV sci-fi drama reveals the country-hopping backstory behind the most ambitious and exhausting hours of TV he’s ever made — and teases an update on season two.
I don't care what anyone says, three years between seasons is ridiculous.
I agree. By the time the new seasons come out I forget where they were in the story.
Which is why I never watched season 1. I'll get around to when there is a but more runway. lol
I love the show, but damn it is a slow burn!
I welcome the anti tiktok pace. We're not all goldfish.
This is Gilligan in his element. He knows how to build a fire. I mean, think “Ozymandias” from Breaking Bad. I expect even more from Pluribus
A New Mexico desert scenery for 5minutes? It must be Gilligan. I watch it for the atmosphere and the transported feelings. Slow pace, good pictures and great actors really help the cause.
How the story continues? I don't care too much. Just give me more desert sun sets. K? Thx.
I lived in Albuquerque for years, and I absolutely hated it the entire time. Somehow, the way this motherfucker shoots it had me going, "Maybe it wasn't so bad?"
It is that bad. Its called make-up/set design and lighting.
Ive stuck it through four seasons of friggen Lost From, might as well continue to sit through Pluribus too
I feel you, but From is a guilty pleasure. Pluribus is a legitimately good show.
Fr, I don't expect anything from From except that it be weird and nothing they do ever works.
lmao, I feel this comment. I guess you're right
From feels a lot like Lost, but with splatter effects. Just throw some mystery crisis at the characters and let them deal with it. The episodes are mostly just short stories without a resolution of the mysterious things over and over again. And then the viewers ask the writers to make sense of it and get disappointed.
It lost me after lots of episodes of the same recipe over and over. But I might pick up again when all the more appealing series are watched. :) I mean you need to resolve the free energy from the make pretend electrical installation! Where does it come from? Or the bottle tree mystery. But I fear even the writers don't know what it means.
I think the first season was throwing everything at the wall to see what stuck. I don't expect the power to ever be explained more than ooOoOo scary magics.
The Tree and lighthouse seem tto be the story they stuck with. I wouldn't be surprised if they make it out and then just shrug and say "that was crazy"
