Pretending to be a sponge is a surprisingly smart strategy, for an orange.
The cat is just attracted by whatever is in that biohazard container.
Either a strange person can touch you.... Oooooorrrrr you can crawl into the sharps box full of dried animal fluids and needles.
Obvious the orange knows which one is best
