Rideshare apps Uber and Lyft are battling thousands of injury and sexual assault lawsuits. A must-pass transportation bill in Congress includes an industry-friendly carveout that would give the companies legal immunity from car crashes and injuries.

You enable this by continuing to use them as your employer or as a passenger. I wish people had even a bit of restraint.

This should be handled politically. Not through individual choice, that pretty much never works.

True, but it's obvious our political system is profit driven. If people had restraint, this wouldn't be a problem to begin with.
