A message from the activist group Everyone Hates Elon: “If you have a trillion dollars in a world where children are starving, you're not a visionary, you're just a cunt”

5d 4h ago by infosec.pub/u/CubitOom in politicalmemes from cdn.social.linux.pizza

Skip that and tell the truth: At that point - you're no longer human. You're in opposition to us and there's no option but to kill whatever trillionares are.

They are no longer humans.

Billionaires aren't human either.

If you have a trillion dollars in a world where children starve, you're the problem.

Children starved before Elon bruh.

no kidding, rich assholes who allowed the poor to die while hoarding resources have always existed? gosh golly gee willickers, I wouldn't have known! Thanks for telling us, pal.

I don't think millionaires in USA are the reason why kids in Africa are starving

Then I have some terrible news for you.... Millionaires in the USA and elsewhere are pretty much exactly why kids in Africa are starving (to death, lest the implied goes unnoticed.)

I don't think

Should have stopped there.

you might want to look up "colonization", the British, Spanish, Portuguese, etc colonized much of Africa, drained it of resources, then that same wealth made its way to the US which was also a British colony after they killed and stole the land from the natives. Colonizers who then min maxed it by going all in on slavery, then when the motherland was asking for too much in taxes from their profits they broke away. The US was built with blood and money.

Thing is we're talking about trillionaires now, not millionaires. It might feel like they're pretty close right? Since it's million -> billion -> trillion it means that if you have a million dollars you're about 1/3 of the way to being a trillionaire right?

No, you'd be 0.0001% of the way there.

Just to reframe it:

1 Trillion = 1,000,000 Million. 1 Million Million. 1 Million².

If you're a millionaire, why haven't you just done it a million more times?

A trillionaire sees a millionaire in the same way a millionaire sees someone with a net worth of... 1$

that's fine, I forgive you for being wrong.

You would be wrong.

Millionaires, no, but billionaires, yeah probably.

Yeah, children starved in feudal systems and in despotic empires... See the pattern?

Yeah they were starving. But now we have a fat succulent trillionaire that can feed them.

Then when there's nothing left of him we can use his money to buy more food for them.

Why do so many people still use Twitter? Why do so many people still buy Teslas? It seems like everyone hates Elon but not enough to do even the easiest boycott ever.

I bought a Hyundai for this reason.

I'm doing my part.gif

Don't forget that X.com is a child pornography generator.

Also anyone opposed to all this needs to also boycott grok and anthropic (which pays spacex for compute). But you should probably avoid all ai to be safe.

That's grok,, which is xAI, which is now SpaceX and now a public company.

People's pension funds are investing in a CSAM generator.

A friend of mine who is a DC comics fan just purchased a Tesla. He’s rationalised everything as “but it’s a good car”. Brother, you just supported real life Lex Luthor while wearing a SuperMan T-shirt…

In other words; there are people out there who claim pure morals while ignoring heinous and terrible things just to have an extra 100km of range. So what the CEO made decisions that will kill millions? The car now has rear door releases! Think of the safety!

just to have an extra 100km of range.

Fake range. They just put a larger number on their screen.

I sent him an article before his purchase of the testing that was done showing most EV manufacturers were lying about the range, with Tesla being the worst. Didn’t phase him at all.

Last autumn I spent the day with a surveyor at work, who believed in the new world order, cancel culture, covid vaccines were controlling our minds, IMF conspiracies, etc etc. Also drove a Tesla.

So he's a right wing nut job who supports right-wing nut jobs, sounds about right

Yup. There were some other comment that made it all quite ironic and I can’t what remember what it was. Should have added that really.

Teslas have the worst safety ratings from every single electric car. Including the largest fail and defect numbers.

What you’re not taking into account is how much you can ignore with the right amount of copium. I do hope for his sake nothing goes wrong with the car but if it does he has no one to blame but himself at this point.

May Saint Kendrik bless him with the ability to hate with his whole heart.

Man I remember when we had the first trillion dollar company not very long ago (not counting the Dutch East Indies company) and now we have a trillion dollar man. The world is so out of whack.

Kinda stands to reason. It's the trillion dollar companies that are his assets.

Well yes, but most multi billion dollar companies aren’t in the hands of a single person. Which is the key here. No one person should hold such power.

His value is only worth what he can sell it for. If no one is buying, he’s worthless.

That part is obvious and the same goes for a company.

Now, get rid of the cunt. Like for real

I hate Elon Musk.

everyone hates elon

A strangely huge amount of people don't

Elon hates elon. That is why he must hate the world.

it’s always projection with these sickos

Insert always has been meme.

there's kind of a "church" around this asshole. I don't even going to pretend that I understand these people.

parasite

I'm pretty sure that kicks in at a billion.

7 billion was the projected amount it would take to end world hunger. So yes it would be very doable for the world to be a better place if the rich were simply taxed and followed the same laws as everyone else.

7 billion was the projected amount it would take to end world hunger.

Lie—that was nonsense that went viral, and immediately collapsed under scrutiny. That claim was tweeted at Musk, and when he replied saying 'explain how that would work and I'll give you the money right now', he got a sheepish response to the tune of 'well actually, it would only help, not end it, and only temporarily'.

A more recent, actual estimate, puts it closer to $93 billion. And not once, but annually.

Stop being so gullible and falling for this sensationalized nonsense just because it confirms your biases.

Still seems like a pretty low number to me. The U.S. military budget request this year was 1.5 trillion dollars. Thats unusually high, but even at previous levels of 700-800 billion a year, that's chump change to take out of the U.S. military budget yearly.

Now if we all actually cared about world hunger 93 billion annually is a pretty small price to pay.

We should probably still try taxing them and not letting them commit crimes right?

Maybe we could even solve world hunger for 1 year, like to see if it's a good idea?

For those not doing the math - assuming a trillion dollars just gets dumped into a bucket labeled "world hunger" (because we as the world decide to start taxing millionaires, billionares, etc heavily), and assuming we'd need $93 million to eradicate it annually, we could eradicate world hunger for the next 10,752 years.

I refuse to believe it would need that much ad-infinitum. The first bunch creates a load of infrastructure, and that becomes self sustaining over the next few years.

CORRECT! And THATS why I'm ok NOT Taxing Billionaires! Because if we CANT Solve something RIGHT NOW we should LET KIDS DIE while letting Billionaires BUY Countries instead!

Some would say at 100 million. I'd say much earlier.

People must starve somewhere for people like him having trillions

This reminded me of a subway take video I watched yesterday with a young lady in London. She focused on climate but I will expand.

We have solved all the worlds major problems. We have solved homelessness. We have solved hunger. We have solved climate change.

That is not the problem. The problem is the alternative to these things are too lucrative for people to implement.

No because then they wouldn't be able to steal money from them.

This need to be on every billboard across the globe.

Trillionaires cannot be allowed to exist. Now that there's one, all the rest of the Sociopathic Oligarchs are going to want to be trillionaires, too, so we'll face another round of ruthless profit squeezing to get there.

And they'll get even more arrogant and demanding, and when we finally deny them, they will form alliances, and start creating their own military. We will see it, and try and stop it, but MAGAs will defend them and run interference.

They will eventually claim a landmass somehow - buy it, steal it, conquer it - and become their own financially and militarily aggressive nation, and really start throwing their weight around.

It is absolutely imperative that we stop these mentally-ill financial hoarders. Their obsessive accumulation of money is suppressing the freedom of billions of people around the globe, and it will only get worse. They can't control themselves, they don't care at all about the damage they inflict, and they have no intention of slowing down. They can't, they are MENTALLY ILL. They need medical care, not be treated like visionary business people, and they certainly should not be given even more money by the government. It's like giving a drunk his own distillery, or handing a gambling addict his own casino.

And billionaires already look down on millionaires. Now trillionaires are going to look down their snooty noses at mere billionaires. Millionaires are now paupers.

The rest of us only have value as cheap slave labor, but once AI takes over, we won't even carry value as slaves. Then we'll just be in the way, consuming, demanding our rights, causing problems, demanding valuable things for free like food, water, air, medical care, housing, etc. We will become useless consumers of resources to people who see us as nothing more than ants, and we will be treated accordingly.

It is INEVITABLE.

While I do believe they'll form an alliance the deal is that those cuts will turn on eachother as soon as it benefits them on the shortest of terms. A society of sociopaths will not last

Yeah they all think they're the main character in the room, basically all very rich people do. Any co-operating is just not going to work out long-term

You aren't a cunt, you're the fucking cause.

Man, I thought Musk was obnoxious before, but now we will have to start saying “billionaires and trillionaires” instead of just “billionaires”. Maybe “Epstein class” sums it up?

How about Sociopathic Oligarchs?

But Yes, "Epstein Class" needs to be a permanent addition to the language.

Morbid financial obesity

He is technically still also a billionaire. Having over 1,000 billions does not exclude one from that group. I feel disgusted even writing this comment.

just write it as >=billionaries

the world doesn't need anymore >=billionaires!

Remember he is only this wealthy because other people are willing to buy a share of his money losing company at a highly inflated price.

Kill the rich, save the poor. Taxation, is not enough for the current era. There must be justice for the crimes committed. Once they are dead, then we can figure out how to run the world without capitalism. Untill then, the elimination of the ultra-rich by any means should be the goal. Everything else is noise.

We’re not one for violence…

👏🏻 welp, good thing they don’t classify murdering monsters as violent! Lmao

Cue lots of conservative hand-wringing and tone-policing.

He's going to be loaded onto one of his rockets to Mars whether it is ready or not by an angry mob someday. Or he's going to go into a bunker and never come out.

I wish more people had seen Don't Look Up so we could reference the ending at times like this.

Spoils it for me willya. I am a man of journeys, not endings

Plus, the AI was actually right in the movie. We don't even get that.

Although, it wasn't right about how Dr. Mindy died

I can't wait until these assholes all head to the big luxury resort on Mars.

Nobody sniffs their own farts a deeply and satisfyingly as a Sociopathic Oligarch, and it causes them to become arrogant on a mentally-ill level, and they are only getting worse. They will believe that their little Mars project for the ultra wealthy is the peak of human progress, but they will underestimate its dangers, both from the environment, and from outside forces.

Once they're up there, and we're down here, we can cut them off, and they'll be stuck up there. It will take decades for them to create a Mars-based economy to replace what they had on Earth. Without Earth dwellers to exploit, they'll start stealing from each other, causing their own class warfare.

And for every second they remain on Mars, they are at the mercy of an environment that is far more inhospitable that anywhere on Earth. If the dome gets breached, it is all over for them, and there will be constant attacks. Eventually one will succeed.

They can't to Mars soon enough.

If Mars has a luxury resort that billionaires are willing to go to, it's going to be pretty developed and the world as we know it will be very different as that means it's also heavily colonized.

Hey fElon fuck you in the neck!

A weirdo cunt at that.

Not just kids. Anyone starving. Anyone in abject poverty. Anyone housebound because they can’t afford whatever medical help they need to have a life. It’s not just the kids. Billionaires suppress all of our abilities to get ahead.

... the system is a cunt

There fixed that for you.

I always disliked blaming the "system" system is created by the people. Same as blaming "corporations". It shifts blame. Behind every government, system, corporation is always human beings. People. (And those people have names and addressess)

Don't you think Elon himself is a cunt also?

"Spotted"

Dude was part of the group putting up the sign.

Excellent work detective

Proof it in a court of law.

But he doesn't have a Trillion Dollars. He is, in theory, on paper, worth a Trillion Dollars.

If he tried to actually extract that wealth, the share price would plummet making him a measly billionaire.

If you look at what he has in real liquid wealth, it's less than a billion.

Yeah it's all smoke and mirrors. It's all valuations.

The issue though is that he can borrow against that. That's the real scam, and it's something we need to address. Loans backed by assets like stocks should get taxed as if it were a short term sale of the assets. Also cap how much stock you can use as collateral for loans. Or just ban using stocks as collateral in the first place. They want to spend? They need to sell, pay the taxes, and weigh the loss in voting power against their need for money

I'm quite sure it's solely for clout. The timing was just right and the numbers lined up just so to produce that extra digit.

He's like that one dog at the barbecue who's just tall enough to snag a sausage from the buffet table while the humans weren't looking. This is now the part where he parades his pilfered prize and gloats for a few minutes too long. "Look what I've got". Don't give him the satisfaction!

Outright banning using collateral for loans wouldn't work, even us plebs can do that and it has uses, like taking out a loan against your house. And if it's not stocks, its something else they have that's worth a lot or will loophole around into. They just need to tax collateralized loans or ban it after a certain amount.

edit: and if you get to the point that its taxed (if its at a threshold) then you got enough money to pay someone to figure it out and manage it.

That’s exactly the trick. The rich don’t become rich by selling their assets. They become powerful by never having to.

They pledge their stock as collateral, borrow against it, and live off debt instead of income. No sale means no capital gains tax. No liquidation means no crash in their holdings. Meanwhile, the underlying assets keep appreciating.

Their “paper wealth” may not be cash, but it buys access to virtually unlimited credit, and credit becomes power.

At that level, wealth isn’t about liquidity. It’s about leverage, and leverage is power.

He almost over leveraged himself with Twitter as the market was crashing, that would have been a sight to see if he hadn't derisked that and sold stock instead.

Headline: Musk buys twitter, but loses nearly all control of Tesla as margin call in crashing market wipes him out.

There is a fantastic song by Mudrat about this topic.

You could be both. He isn't, but it isn't impossible.

Letting children starve is generally thought of as a dick move when you have more than enough money to just pay to make that not happen.

Well, yeah. Trillionaires are definitely bad people. That isn't the question, though. The question is whether they can be visionaries at the same time. I submit that they can.

You're getting hung up on the wrong thing here.

In this context, a visionary is someone that can help lead humanity to a better way of life. Many of Musk's fans actually think this about him, that either his electric cars, his "ai", his "free speech platform", or his space program will somehow make the world a better place. All while ignoring his bigotry, his exploitation of humans and the environment, his political escapades which has resulted in countless deaths, and his collusion with Epstein. It is all a scam.

The richest person in the world also happens to be one of the worst.

CyberTruck, Grok, Xitter, Teslabots. Anything Elon has a personal hand in goes to shit. He has the eye for investing and marketing vaporware but visionary engineer is overdone tony stark pr bullshit.

Ask yourself this, how quickly would investor sentiment in his companies turn if he died tomorrow?

I specifically said that Elon Musk is not a visionary. He very clearly isn't. He's a moron who's been failing upward since he was born with emeralds in his pockets.

Apologies I hadn’t picked that up on the first read through of your reply.

The only vaguely visionary bit about him is his dedication to building The Torment Nexus.

It's effectively meaningless. If you don't spend it, it doesn't exist.

They do spend it, just as collateralized loans. He's heavily influencing elections around the world with it.

He doesnt have a trillion dollars

Does he have ~12 pints of blood?

I bet you could find out and let us know. Report back.

Probably

He has $971b or $982b depending on whether you go by Bloomberg or Forbes.

And he's still expanding that ridiculous dragon's hoard so rapidly that it might be passing the $1t mark before you read this sentence.

He is worth that much of every stock sold for retail.

He didn't have that much money.

He can borrow against that asset value for liquid cash at extremely low interest rates, so he essentially has access to at minimum 50-80% of that value. For all intents and purposes, and especially given that it would be essentially impossible for an individual to ever actually spend a trillion dollars, he has that much money.

If I own a house outright that’s worth $2 million but I only have $10 cash in the bank, it would be entirely disingenuous to say that I’m poor. It’s far more accurate to say I’m a millionaire.

You would be cash poor, and a millionaire. That actually very common.

It's a paper fortune. He'll never be able to cash out all of that

But he can take loans out against it and use it to open doors.

Good. Let the banks loan him infinite money against non existent assets. Someone is going to learn the lesson at the end, either reatard Elon or the retarded banks. I'm looking forward to it.

You know who is going to help out Banks once they begin to stumble?

Obama?

You're a dick

I was half serious. The aftermath of 2007 financial crisis was Obama approving 700Billion aid package for banks. But I don't think they could do government bailout this time - The scale of this bubble is like few times bigger than back then. I can't wait for the shit to hit the fan.

They will find a way, they sorted out all the dumbass VC techbros when bank failure bubbled up with Silicon Valley bank.

If they can't stomach shitco's going belly up then they will find a way to make AI losses whole.

Funny how Taylor Swift seems to always go under the radar whenever folks go on a rage rampage about billionaires

Did Taylor Swift buy up a social media to overthrow democracy?

It's not funny; it's just rational when you look at it:

    1. Swift is nowhere near as wealthy
    1. Elon does TREMENDOUSLY more damage in his wake, and is an Epstein-partying pedo
    1. Swift at least advocates for a lot of good things (like endorsing Harris over Trump). Musk really doesn't.

This is thus simply focusing on the elephant in the room.

Swift is a billionaire. She uses private jets.

Do you know how many billions go in a trillion?

The difference between a billion and a trillion is about a trillion.

Which is insane. When the numbers become too large, they just stop making sense intuitively.

I had a nice comparison to put a billion into perspective : a million seconds is 11 days, a billion seconds is over 30 years. We understand these two durations reasonably well, and the difference can be "felt" clearly.

A trillion seconds is 30000 years... and again, the numbers stop making sense. That would be the Upper Palaeolithic. Agriculture was invented 10000 years ago. Hmm, what else ? Right, sorry, I rounded down. It would actually be 31688 years. A little slip-up of 1700 years, no biggie. The difference between today and the antiquity.

The difference between a dollar and a thousand dollars is about a thousand dollars. Same ratio. Does it screw with your mind then?

No, because I can picture 1 (dollar, apple, person, whatever) and 1000, and it's very obvious that one is a rounding error compared to the other, a difference of 0.1%.

It's just that I can't picture a million apples, much less a billion or a trillion. Hence why I usually turn to time, or distance.

Here's another : if a million is a kilometre, a billion is 1000km and a trillion is the distance to the moon and back.

I totally understand that a million, billion or trillion of anything is hard to grasp when your reference is one or two. 1 to 1,000 is about all we can handle, so you have to mentally rebase each step up.

  • $1 to $1,000 ($1k)
  • $1k to $1,000k ($1M)
  • $1M to $1,000M ($1B)
  • $1B to $1,000B ($1T)

At each stage the thousand dwarves the one by the same degree. So if you can fathom the first one you can fathom the last one. You may not get their absolute size, but relative sizes should be appreciable.

The fact that most of us struggle to get to $1M of assets over a lifetime, and he's at a million times more. 🤮. It's vertigo inducing.

So people suddenly turn evil when they go from billionaire to trillionaire?

Where did you read that? Is the person who said that in the room with us right now?

No. You have the causality backwards. It's impossible to be a trillionaire without being at least a sociopath.

Cool story. Changes nothing I wrote.

A bar graph with two values, 2 and 1100.

Funny how Taylor Swift seems to always go under the radar whenever folks go on a rage rampage about billionaires

Funny how you jump straight to an entirely different person.

Do you think about Taylor a lot? Are you a a swiftie?

And for some unexplainable reason the person this waste of space wants to shift the blame to is a woman.

And for some unexplainable reason the person this waste of space wants to shift the blame to is a woman.

And there you go changing the topic to gender as usual

No exceptions.

Nice try with the whataboutism, though 🙄

Fuck off with the whataboutism.

She's part of the problem. She's just attractive while she does it.

Gabe Newell is very similar. Some people put Bill Gates and Warren Buffett in the same category. All of them are part of the same problem.

Round here? Nah.

Gabe Newell on the other hand...

Ah yes, the starving children of Africa. Issue that you're supposed to care about, but you really, really don't.

You're just saying that you don't care. Fuck you.

Like it or hate it, but great, great majority of people just live their lives and don't give a fuck. Why would they?

Like it or not, you have no fucking clue what you're talking about. Go outside, explore the world, meet some people. Don't just make fucking assumptions on the internet. Again, all this is doing is revealing that you (and probably your social circle) don't give a fuck. And that says something about you. But you have no fucking authority to say what I (or anyone else for that matter) care about. I do care, I give a shit about the issue. What I don't give a shit about is if you believe me or not. edit: and to answer your question "Why would they?" it's this thing called empathy. However there are people who are uncapable of it (sociopaths). Ever got diagnosed?

It's actually funny that people who are pro saving starving children in Africa are also pro abortion. How do you people reconcile these two concepts?

What the fuck are you talking about? Abortion is not on the table here.

I'm just trying to be consistent across multiple different issues. Are you?

How about address the issue we are talking right now, and not draw any more shit into the "discussion". You didn't answer to a single point I made, and started rambling about abortion. We're done.

How do reconcile your anti-abortion stance with your eagerness to see children starve to death in Africa? Just because a woman might have an abortion for some reason of her own, does not mean she wants all children to die. That's a really dumb thing to believe. Yet, by your own admission, you don't care if those African children starve, but you claim to care about abortion? Whose having the real problem with reconciliation?

Secondly, NOBODY is "Pro-Abortion." Despite the MAGA propaganda that you have chosen to believe, the TRUE Pro-Choice objective is to keep abortion Safe and Rare, but available. Nobody is promoting abortion or suggesting more of it, and any talk that "Libz" want every pregnancy to end in abortion is not only a lie, it's outrageously stupid. It's stupid to say it, and it's even more stupid to believe it.

Plenty of Pro-Choice people have children, that's why it's called Pro-CHOICE. It's not about pushing Abortion, it's about keeping it as ONE option, one choice, not the ONLY choice. Plenty of women who have had abortions, have gone on to have children. You definitely know some, you probably even have some in your family. Of course you'll deny it, but why would they confide in YOU? Basically, you know NOTHING about this subject, yet you're super judgemental about it anyway. Everyone around you already knows not to engage, and the especially not to confide.

Seriously, dude, you've got a mental issue. It's probably not mental ILLNESS, you just don't know how to think properly, because you never learned or practiced Critical Thinking Skills. You should "do your research," and find out about Critical Thing Skills, and learn about evidence, sources, logic, generalizations, data, statistics, propaganda, etc. Then practice and hone those skills so they are automatic, and when you hear a MAGA say something remarkably stupid, you recognize it, and you don't think "Hey, that guy has a point."

Because most people aren't MAGA Sociopaths, and MAGA Sociopaths are too stupid to know that.

Because most people aren’t MAGA Sociopaths

Yet Trump is the president
