Something that I have realized, if the thought is not important enough to interrupt the current speaker, then it is ok to miss your chance to say it.
okay, turned off brain
The opposite though, be sure to be an active listener.
Never say anything ever unless it warrants interrupting someone. Got it!
If what you are going to say ends up not in the flow of conversation and the conversation moves on or you forgot what you were gonna say, it isn't worth not putting your attention on what others are saying. Being present is important.
for people who aren’t good with conversation flows, this becomes never say anything
"You're so quiet." 🫠
The only time it's not rude to interrupt someone in normal or professional conversation is in an emergency...
Much like playing uno, holding a card and hoping the color doesn’t change.
That's when you hit them with the "anyway, getting back to the...."
Recently had a party at my place.
Had to pull this one 2 times, and I even passed on a few :/. Rip thoughts, you sure would’ve been interesting to me at least.
ive found this is far too stressful, so i end up being lazy and just listening to them
This. This right here. This is why cats are better conversationalists than people.
