Tough US-style courts to crack down on repeat offenders

Outside of food cuisine and entertainment, US-style anything is probably not something to aim for.
EDIT: I should have made it more clear that my idea of American food is somewhat different from the ultra-processed, HCFS-riddled shite that you would generally buy from Walmart.
Mmm corn syrup in everything.
What makes you say it's a good idea to follow US food approaches? I've heard what you feed your children in schools. How everything is super processed, expensive and terrible for your health.
I don't mean so much supersize happy meals with high-fructose corn syrup soda. I'm talking about the cuisine itself. It's quite idealised, sure, but the recipes are very nice.
I wouldn't hold it up as anything special still.
US style courts, Dutch style unemployment schemes, are the Labour party lacking talent so much that they can't come up with anything themselves?
