They swallow the lie, because the alternative (that they're victims rather than "hustlers") is too bitter to swallow

Tea with the homies is a great way to spend a cold morning

Staying up playing tabletop games is a great way to spend the evening with them

And of course one of my favorites: quietly enjoying the others company while out in nature with the only goal being to have gotten outside into nature
