ICE agents accessed voter files in Texas and North Carolina

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were given access to voter files in two counties in Texas and North Carolina, according to an Axios news report.
Election officials from Forsyth County, North Carolina and Webb County, Texas, gave voter file information to agents from the ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) unit, as part of the Trump administration’s agenda to find instances of noncitizens voting.
There have been diminishingly few cases of noncitizens intentionally voting illegally, and no cases of this happening at a widespread level. However, President Donald Trump has repeatedly insisted, without facts to back him up, that noncitizen voting is prevalent.
No stone left unturned to prove a conspiracy theory with zero standing from the outset.
Project 2025 still has plans to gut social security, medicare and medicaid.
Remember folks, our priorities aren't making sure we eliminate poverty, homelessness or hunger. It's to make sure the whims of one 80 year old man are carried out no matter the cost to everyone, their children, their grandchildren and to those who come after. The costs mean nothing, what would we have spent the money on anyway?
Of course, I'm concerned about ICE/BP using this to target immigrants or noncitizens. Obviously. That should never happen.
AND I'm concerned that they'll go even further and start going after people who vote against the fuhrer. I've been concerned about that possibility for years, and it's actually the reason I bought my guns in the first place. My family and neighbors aren't getting got without me taking a few out along the way. I don't roll over when Nazis come in the night.
