"Dry Land" by Synthezoide (links in post)

Well, it happened. I accidentally ran in to another of Gael Bertrand's works, and was properly fooled this time by him using his Deviant-Art name of "Synthezoide."

Here's his gallery, there:

And an earlier post I did, with a small introduction and four more pieces:

This led me to see that DeviantArt now has a "Create AI Art" button on its homepage now. Artists really need to get off of social medias and start having their own personal indieweb/smallweb blogs and websites.

Dayum.

Oh, man. This is my first time seeing his work, and it's amazing!

Thanks for helping me to be one of today's 10k! 🤩🖖🏼

also, did we hug it to death? DA link's a 403... 😅

nm, it's apparently been a known DA isue for quite some time. eesh. enshittification all the things. 🤢

^eep^

Thanks for helping me to be one of today’s 10k!

Haha, welcome! Also TBF, I don't believe he's done many Euro comics, and instead works in more of the American market.

it’s apparently been a known DV isue for quite some time.

Are you referring to Deviant-Art with "DV"? I remember for some years the pages would load really slowly, but I think they beefed up their servers since then. Or something.

First off, sorry: I'm a bit stoned. I meant DA. I'll fix it. 🍃

That said, my initial search turned up several hits on exactly the same subject, spanning years.

Ergo, DA's been shitty vs VPNs, etc. for about a long as I've been off it, so that tracks. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Super shitty that it shows no sign of tapering, much less ending, but that's this timeline for ya.
