Intel could launch 'Raptor Lake Next' in 2027 as DDR4 makes a comeback

Didn’t DDR4 perform noticeably worse on Alder and Raptor lake?
Reintroducing the 5800x3D made sense since plenty of people have an AM4 setup. But Intel doesn’t keep their boards around long enough. Anyone who bought into Raptor/alder lake probably already got a DDR5 board. And anyone who didn’t already probably doesn’t want to die into a dead end platform.
It would only make sense if someone bought a used i7 or i9 for dirt cheap, and it’s trying to built something around it.
Also have they fixed the oxidation or whatever it was issue yet? On top of all that I don’t want to buy a known defective CPU.
