We need to make law enforcement require a degree, and there should be a 5 year wait between the military and accepting a LEO position.
I would also like to see a nationwide law enforcement license, with mandatory inclusion of disciplinary information, so an especially bad cop can’t just get a job in the next state.
Sounds great, and make it nationwide for lawyers also.
Nationwide is key here. Too many times a problematic officer is retired early or simply transferred to another district/parish
Qualified immunity should be stopped and anyone who's been protected by it in the past should have charges reopened.
This also has the added benefit of reducing the number of police by like 90%
the license plate readers are essential for finding stolen vehicles
Nobody:
Humanity: We should track our vehicles by the one thing on them that comes off with four bolts and a pair of pliers.
