The study looks at AT&T coverage to determine iPhone availability from 2007 to 2011 and how that correlated with fertility. The authors suggest the correlation could be caused by the iPhone "reducing in-person interactions, increasing pornography use, and reducing sexual frequency" according to national-survey evidence.
