I’m just… genuinely struggling to give a shit anymore about this stuff. It’s demonstrably all just posturing and dickwaving on both sides. Yes, one side is far more malicious than the other. But the fact that the “opposition” is manifestly incapable of getting their shit together in absolutely any meaningful way (at multiple junctures, both before and after the orange regime lost their grip on power in 2020) is utterly damning - and moreover, makes me more than a little suspicious that they’re all ultimately playing for the same team. The entire political class that has been foisted upon us is a complete waste of oxygen. They should be forced to apologize to trees for wasting what they give us for the rest of their natural lives. It’s fucking embarrassing.
