Lukashenko says Belarus poses no military threat to Ukraine, apologizes to Zelensky for past remarks

Doubtful, given that Lukashenko allowing Russia to invade through Belarus nearly resulted in the capture of Kyiv.
quite, he saw the drones raining down on st petersburg and got a little nervous me thinks
Lukashenko literally wants to be a colonel in the Russian army. If Russia was winning he'd be parading how much he helped the war effort. The only reason he's going through these theatrics now is because Russia isn't doing well and he needs to save face so Ukraine wouldn't drag Belarus into the peace talks and have them also pay reparations. If that happens I imagine that's also the end of him, the people will revolt and this time daddy Putin doesn't have the resources to save him.
The bully's sidekick after the victim starts beating the shit out of the bully......
"Sorry bro my bad, we got no beef, please bro"
Heh this made me laugh :D
The thing with Lukashenko is that no one can trust him.
He has no loyalties except to himself, and no principles besides wanting to remain in power at all costs. Before 2020, he was flip flopping between Russia and Europe on a monthly basis and that only changed because most European countries had enough after the 2020 elections.
These statements will only remain true if Putin doesn't find the right leverage to change his calculations.
Rat from a sinking ship?
i don't trust this guy. i suspect they gonna allow russia to attack thru their country and this is a ruse
Yeah, this is a news story from 4 days ago: https://en.defence-ua.com/analysis/ukraine_warns_of_potential_new_front_as_russian_forces_shift_assets_toward_belarus-18785.html

My guy you literally let Russia launch an invasion from your fucking territory.
Or maybe this should be read another way: Luka-chan is becoming very aware that there’s a lot of dissension in the ranks of his military, and that if he ordered them to do something incredibly stupid, like, oh I don’t know, invading Ukraine in support of Russia, they very well might just turn around and shoot him in the face. Perhaps this is less “I’m not threatening you” and more “I can’t actually threaten you”.
"I really want to threaten you, but I turned around to check and there isn't actually anyone standing behind me.
.......friends?"
