Feds freaked over Fable 5 after simple 'fix this code' prompt, not jailbreak

The author thinks the government misjudged Fable 5. The point is to hurt Anthropic for challenging Hegseth and for its stances that AI tools need regulation and should not operate autonomously.
Im not sure what anthropic has control over, but wow do they have a marketing team that is just crushing it.
They could have just released a new version but no, they convinced everyone this was the opening scenes of The Terminator and only they were the responsible ones.
Also, their resistance to the military (performative or not) is likely earning a lot of points with software devs that I assume largely want nothing to do with the war machine.
We have seen big tech with morals before, we know where this is going.
I don't for a second think Anthropic is moral. Performative morality at best
Awww, look at Ms. Moussouris engaging in good faith as if the government made a boo boo and just need to be made aware to correct an aggregious decision.
They know what they're doing and don't give a shit about the "real world" implications. I appreciate the effort but it is wasted.
