It's not just me, right? This looks... familiar.

Y'all have children's play areas in your airports?

Usually it's just extra space they don't know what else to do with

Oh, it's an airport? I thought-

number one, lets play

Japan and Korea have some and it’s such a godsend if you have a layover flight. I’d much rather hear kids laughter than 4 hours of “where’s the plane??”

Or they designed it for a child? Why not let a child pretend they are the captain of a Galaxy-class starship while they wait for the plane to board. Just tell them they aren’t allowed to self-destruct and they need to share when another captain request and requires them to relinquish command of the vessel.

It's disappointing there are no resident cosplayers in that lounge area. Would be amazing for recording some low-budget fan works.

It sucks that you can't just go and hang out at an airport any more.

sure you can, it's public space provided you aren't trying to get into secure/restricted areas or past checkpoints.

expect to be questioned but you can always remain polite and silent. no broken laws, no identification (depending where you live) and you're ok to chill so long as it's public areas.

Everything except baggage claim and ticketing is past the checkpoints.

Really depends on the airport tbh

Any airport in the US is like this.

The children spontaneously shake in one direction when the action sound queue tells them the playground in under attack.

Yeah …looks very familiar!

Corporate playgrounds are peak brutalism.

Not fully operational without the red carpet.
