The victim appeared before the court on Tuesday and asked for the maximum sentence, according to WBRZ. She spoke of the incident where Mystikal “choked her, pulled braids out of her hair and forcibly raped her.” After she spoke, the rapper told the courtroom, “If I did that to you, I deserve the max sentence.”

Mystikal faced similar domestic abuse charges in 2004 after sexually assaulting his hairstylist and subsequently spent six years in prison. In 2012, he was jailed for three months on misdemeanor domestic abuse charges, and five years later, he was charged with rape and kidnapping before the case was dropped.
Wholeheartedly agree, especially because this isn't the first or second time.
It would be nice if we could rehabilitate with intensive therapy so they don't come out worse.

It would be, yes; but this is America and we seem to have a permanent hard-on for punishment over rehabilitation, and it's also a lot easier to make punishment profitable. remember, kids, slavery is still legal in the good ole "land of the free", if you're in prison -- and several companies and their shareholders get inordinately rich off it. Hooray for profits derived from human suffering with no other benefit to society! Freedom! Justice! Capitalism! God, this place is hell.

I read that as Rap case and was really intrigued to see what that entailed, my disappointment is palpable.

Rape is an act of torture. Wishing for more rape doesn't help anything or anyone

Raping someone is not some simple mistake, it's several decisions made on top of each other. People with that level of disregard for another human will get zero sympathy from me.

I understand, I really do. But I still strongly believe that no one deserves to be raped.
I never said I wish it to happen. I said I wouldn't really care if it happened. Why would you have zero sympathy for me? I haven't raped anyone because I understand how fucked up it is. I think everyone knows that, yet some people do it. So yes, if that rapist gets raped himself and experience the sheer horror he himself put someone else through, then I would be completely indifferent.
This whole idea of "poor evil people" is why shit is the way it is in the west now.

Ok I never specified rape. And I agree that no one deserves to be raped. He was also an abuser. Like I said, he'll get his comings too. Anyone who is abusive, rapist, what have you, always gets their comings in the end.
