Daveigh Chase, the former child actor known for her work in 'Lilo & Stitch' and 'The Ring', died Tuesday of complications from meningitis. She was 35.
Jesus fucking christ, what a horrible way to go at such a young age. I loved her voice not only as Lilo but Shihiro in Spirited Away. God damn, she'll be missed.

After appearing in Thomas Dekker’s 2016 horror film Jack Goes Home, Chase largely withdrew from acting. In the GoFundMe page, Hernandez refers to various difficulties encountered by the actor, including bullying and a falling out with her family. Chase, he writes, “struggled to find safety and happiness in downtown LA” but that the two “found moments of happiness and hope” until her recent health issues. According to TMZ, Chase was taken to a hospital earlier this month for malnutrition.
