Supreme Court Rejects Theory That Would Have Transformed American Elections

The idea that the legislature could decide elections without being subject to state courts is insane. Thankfully, the justices predictably didn't buy that idea. Six rejected it outright. Three dissented on jurisdictional grounds, which I'm much more sympathetic to. It sounds like most people thought it wouldn't even be taken because of the jurisdictional issues, but I haven't read through the opinion to see why the majority didn't think there was an issue.
