Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Developers Detail Clever System That Increases the DLC's Difficulty Based on How Much of the Base Game You've Played
9mon 22d ago in games@sh.itjust.works from www.ign.comAs far as I'm aware it's like standalone in the sense that it's separate from the main game, like you access it through the menu.
And my question is more, what incentive does the player have for playing this before the base game.
This doesn't really make much sense to me, why wouldn't you play through the game before touching the DLC?
Thing is, most of the discussion online is guided by reviews from major publications. If someone like SkillUp says the game is good then there will generally be a positive discussion about that game. Personally, I haven't played it nor do I ever really plan on playing it. Something about it just doesn't catch me eye the way certain games do, I feel like I'd have a similar experience to you if I did play it.

Millions of Gen Zers are jobless—and unemployment is mainly affecting men
9mon 25d ago in workreform from fortune.comGood? I don't understand the defense of having more jobs for people.
Genuine question, aside from the creative ventures (which I believe generative AI should never be used for in a professional setting), what's the value in having people work for work's sake? Like the monotonous jobs, the jobs that don't have any real value but still should get done.
I've never held a strong identity with my job, and I really don't understand why others, particularly in America, do.

I've played Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's DLC clans, Lasombra and Toreador, and they absolutely should have been in the base game
9mon 26d ago in games@sh.itjust.works from www.pcgamer.comYou sounds like an asshole, but you're partially right. Speaking of the people who buy FIFA every year without as much of a second thought. They people who very casually just buy into games they have a passing interest in.
But I'm not so sure that crowd makes up a majority anymore.
As we had all feared. Now that we know this for certain, I wonder what other nasty tricks The Chinese Room will try to pull with this game...
