The keyring hole has to separate when you pivot the handles. With a ring installed you can’t open the knife.

Silly penguin, you're supposed to attach it to your keys in the open position!

I have a Rebel-series DSLR so no concerns about the crop factor. I have a mix of EF and EF-S lenses (a couple 3rd party so not sure about support there). I started with the Canon Elan 7 film camera as well as the older Canon FD-mount AE1 before moving to digital.

Canon R10

Did you come from the Canon EF/EF-S world prior to the R10 or is this your first DSLR? If you've migrated to RF did you bring any EF/EF-S lenses with you and if so, how do they fair with the adapter?

I'm a Canon guy sitting with a very old (at this point) but still capable DSLR that only gets hauled out occasionally. I really would like a new camera but the thought of having to buy all new lenses (EF or EF-S) causes my wallet to run and hide under the dresser.

JFC I'm old. I understood about 1/3 of the words in this post. I gather this is some sort of knife and it is of poor quality and after that I black out. Later, I awake from my stupor to find that I'm on a porch yelling at kids to get off my lawn.

For longer exposures it will double your exposure time because it'll do the dark frame right after the normal frame. I think Canon doesn't want to confuse people ("my 2 second exposure takes 4 seconds?!") right off the bat.

It must be something weird then with editing old posts.

I didn't recognize that it was 2 years old until I re-logged into lemmy.world today. I was curious because I didn't see any other comments on the piefed side of things. There's some weirdness going on between the two instances for sure.
