Can you also add Panoramax as an alternative to Google Street View in the sidebar? It's French, FOSS, and federated.
I recommend Ecosia over DuckDuckGo. DDG is American and uses bing whereas Ecosia is European and although it uses bing, they are developing an independent indexer.

Should we be mapping paved shoulders for cyclists?
2y 8mon ago in openstreetmap_ca@lemmy.caI love to see other mappers of bike infrastructure in Ontario. There's an active mapper in Kitchener-Waterloo but other than that, it sometimes feels like I'm the only one.
Now if only we could get more Panoramax mappers in Ontario...
I map shoulders with StreetComplete.
Is there a recommended way to contribute to OpenStreetMaps? There's so much stuff in Vancouver that could use updates, but I'm not sure where to start

For desktop, start with the standard ID editor which is user friendly.
