My only hope is the reason it's like this was Fujimoto was tired of the series and the ending he had planned didn't go as expected. Hope he takes a break and make new stories in the future.

It was a happy ending for Denji but I can't help but feel how rushed and forced this ending felt. I mean, yeah, a bunch of characters are alive and stuff but man I feel kind of disappointed.

Uhhhhh..... What? Most out of nowhere ending to an arc ever. I haven't seen a hero technically lose this bad in a long time. And this not only rests Part 2, but Part 1 does not exist as well since Makima's only goal was to be with Chainsaw Man.

Anyway, Bug Man out of nowhere not only easily putting Yoru on the back foot and making her beg for Denji's help is so funny because it implies that despite all the horrible things happening in the universe, bugs are still so feared that War itself is struggling.

I wonder if Yoru will mirror the same actions Denji took to avoid hurting as few people (devils) as possible. But based on the fact that she has another ace in the FUCKING MOON, something tells me she will have less of a controlled reaction.

I often get whiplash from seeming Fujimoto's art in the movie illustrations vs the manga.
