There's a few about. But usually very easy to deal with. The poor hedgehogs seem to get the worst of it. But they are tough wee things and barely seem to notice.

I prefer the long grass (except for things like sports pitches and stuff. Obviously). Unless there's a good reason to mow, leave it be. Also, with a lot of councils charging specifically for garden "waste" uplift that's a pretty big disincentive to cut.

Swimming some day this week. Glad I've got back into it. Continuing with the crafts. Glaring, spitefully, at the housework. The usual. Should really book something for the summer. Not abroad, what with the budget. But a couple of nights on the coast maybe.

Plan to finish a costume piece within the next few days. Creatively I've been more into that of late than illustrating. You have to go with your gut with these things. Won't be screen accurate but it will have the right feel (doesn't super matter about the accuracy given that I am, let's just say, not exactly the same build as the character that wears it on-screen. But fancy-dress/cosplay should always be foremost for the fun of it).
