May I ask the details of the commission you were provided, was it a photo you worked from?
I do drawing and oil paints for practice, and asked around my family if someone wanted portraits since I'm doing them anyway and might as well paint family. This is a relative who likes to do speeches. There was a low resolution photo of one of the speeches lying around, so I decided to paint from that. The painting will be delivered for the person's birthday soon.

Fiktiota:
- There is No Antimemetics Division. Perustuu SCP Wikiin. Uskomattoman paljon hyviä ideoita, mutta kirjoituksen taso heikko. Siitä huolimatta voimakas suositus. Kauhua rakennettuna tuntemattomuuden pelon päälle ja pääkopan sekoittamista pohtien miten ihmisten muistot muodostavat persoonan.
- Sitten aloitin Wheel of Time alusta kun luin sen viimeksi 2000-luvun alussa. Nyt menossa kakkoskirja.
- Sitä ennen luin romantacy BDSM smuttia (Thicker than Gold). Ei ollut minun juttu, mutta tulipa kokeiltua.
Ei-fiktiota:
- Before the Ironclad: Warship Design and Development, 1815-1860. Autistisen yksityiskohtaista pohdintaa sotalaivojen kehityksestä mainitulla aikakaudella. Jäi kesken, mutta opin mm. sen että Brittien laivanrakennus ei ollut edes niin hyvää, vaan he kaappasivat parhaat laivat Ranskalta ja Espanjalta. Sen sijaan Brittiläisten merimahti perustui erittäin päteviin miehistöihin sekä valtavaan määräiseen ylivoimaan.

1y 1mon ago in games@sh.itjust.worksAbsolutely. What I'm talking about is something like Bloodstained, where honestly the upgrades simply meant you now get to proceed to the next linear area in the game, where the area now can use the ability you unlocked, but lots of older areas have no use of it.
An example of a "key" like ability in Hollow Knight is the rocket dash. It's only ever used to bypass an obstacle you normally wouldn't be able to cross, but at the other side of the obstacle, you have no more use of that skill. I suppose it can be used in rare instances to travel around the map faster, but only if there's a straight path.
