Different economic systems can coexist as long as they are voluntary

Ancom and Ancap both agree that the means of production goes to whomever is organized enough to control it.

Broadly he's not wrong. A lot of proposed regulations will strengthen incumbent companies, especially in the short term.

But I also still think AI is a bubble. Lobbying is the only thing keeping it afloat and it's yet to show concrete returns outside of the narrow areas that AI is actually good at.

I think the future of AI is still pattern recognition and discreet neural nets performing specific tasks. I think LLMs are a dead end.

Mises Institute wears libertarian principles like Albert fish wore skin.

Its weird talking to non-libertarians about governance. I can't tell when you're being sarcastic and when your worldview really is that divorced from mine.

And yea, there are libertarian socialists, though they don't always claim us and we don't always claim them.

But consider that government is always a balance between allowing liberty and preventing anarchy. People do best when they have control over their own lives. That can't happen when you have a nanny state protecting them from their own choices, but it also can't happen when the biggest dick in the room can beat you down and take all your shit.

Libertarian doesn't mean no taxes. There's a spectrum. I'd favor paying for Healthcare over paying for bullshit wars.

I cant see the post for whatever reason but yea, some libertarians do.

Universal Healthcare is not explicitly a socialist idea.

Breed Specific Legislation Rule

I know. I had a reactive dog. Found him as a stray in terrible condition.

He made it to 16 but he never fully lost that reactivity. I used to get all kinds of judgement from people saying things like you said.

I'm not saying pitts can't be violent. I'm saying my bad dog experiences have all been other breeds.

And not every reactive dog is the owner's fault. The world is more complicated than that.

Literally never encountered a mean Pitt. Plenty of other breeds though.

Anyone still here?
