3mon 19d ago in australianpolitics@aussie.zone from www.theguardian.comPlease do. I did so yesterday. I am sure many within Labor hate it too, but the federal government needs to feel the pressure of this colossal fuckup, so they know that the Australian people still take international law very seriously.

5mon 5d ago in asklemmy@lemmy.mlAll the good stuff still exists (and there is more of it, in fact). But it is no longer the mainstream. The popular discourse is always around what is happening on the major platforms, but there is constantly great creativity happening over at Neocities and MakerTube, just to name a couple platforms. Hell, even YouTube and TikTok have amazing stuff happening on them. It's just not the top-viewed content.
One of the best things you can do is stop using algorithmic recommendations for a few weeks. Download the Unhook plugin for YouTube, etc. Then you actually choose the internet media you are exploring.

PM breaks silence to back US military strikes on Iran
11mon 29d ago in australianpolitics@aussie.zone from michaelwest.com.auI am shattered that this was our government's response, even though they don't have to appeal to right-wing voters anymore.
They've lost their values in their attempt to be politically savvy, and I believe they've just put Australia on the wrong side of history.
Yup, fucking captured it!
