They are Slavs and fight till the end (literally to the last Ukrainian). The US just needs to keep Starlink available and keep feeding targeting info. Ukraine does the rest. Sure, they will eventually run out of men. But they will then send the women too and keep the fight going for another few years.
Ukraine is the best-possible proxy ever. That war will keep going with or without further western funding.
It's always the time and always has been.
But the actual problem to be solved is not the system, but the minority of people who always rise to the top in any system and ruin it for everyone else. There are always positions of power and people happy to exploit them. That is something, no system so far was able to solve.
Russia is occupied with Ukraine for the next ten years.

Of course, I will be able to just use a pirated model locally. Or I can just use a Chinese or Russian one - they can speak English just fine.
