About 1/4 of the way done with my action fantasy book

My routine is I’m transferring all my focus and drive i used for chat forums and doom scrolling into writing. I often dedicate one chat to asking questions, another for ideas, another for prompts, another for asking about those prompts, i go chapter by chapter and im never afraid to throw away a draft. I listen to the ai read it back to me, if sound dumb i scrap it. My belief is that if you can tell a story to a five year old, a 55 year old or an 85 year old and they all get the story, you’re on to something. Be fearless and write with purpose. Go big on ideas then scale back. Have a business plan cz you can write the best book ever made and no one will ever read it cz of piss poor indie marketing. Start with serious works then bumps credibility. I couldve wrote three original series books already but I’m waiting cz I’m taking on serious public domain books (the classics)

My advice is never give up… ask ai lots of questions, lose interest in shit that is meaningless in life like doom scrolling, bs social media outrage, grab a good cigar or in my case a nicotine salt pouch, find a comfy work station. Tune everything out and go into true flow state. Also….. this is key…….. tap into the dark inner shit, life, any personal experience , pretend to be someone rose truly. Once you start treating a book like an acting gig you love it as you write rather than just guess. I literally tapped into some of my inner demons to write some of the horror aspects of my original series.

Sorry for the long wait on the reply. Im the idea engine. I created a very specific list of prompts for paid tier chat gpt that makes it better than pay for play ai wiring apps. I use it to draft. But its not im going to it and saying “ay make me a story mate!!” Input in equals input out. I’ve actually finished a rewrite of frankenstien and an educational book on an old Nordic, Danish take I’ve always wanted to do. When the average person writes using ai its very boomer-ish…. But me i spent 2 months developing a querying engine that doesn’t imagine bs and create ai slop.

To answer your question using ai even just as an hobby i can write 10x faster to 40x faster if im dedicated. Its all about treating ai less like a chat buddy that does amazing things and more like a second mind that performs tasks. The relationship is symbolic of becoming an android with infinite online knowledge. I trust and stand by chat gpt. Don’t use grok, it can leak your private chats onto twitter, google ai (i mean cmon its google) the only other one is recommend is lumo but it doesn’t save memories so chats are temporary
