20d 4h ago in mildlyinfuriating from www.youtube.comI heard rumour recently he’s been speaking to legal eagle to find representation.
But yeah dude lives up to his YouTube account name. He’s very reckless and has at least on some level been dishonest in his presentation of the information. For example we know why he was arrested the second time. (Residential picketing) but he keeps saying he doesn’t know. Or the fact he lied about the process server being someone who he just met.
He’s by all accounts ultimately in the right for the stolen Lego but I’ve been shocked at how poorly prepared they have been to deal with cops. Ie why the fuck does he not stop talking to them lol.
Hopefully he manages to get the original owners of the Lego and the store made whole. And holy fuck I want to know what happened to crystals store bird BAM took.
What are your worst tech purchases?
1mon 11d ago in asklemmyThat BlackBerry tablet. It honestly wasn’t a bad device on some levels. It had features that weren’t as easy on other devices for some time. Like the fact it automatically got internet from my phone seamlessly.
But support for apps was garbage and the hardware the dumb. If you let the battery fully discharge you had to spend like 15 minutes plugging and unplugging the power to force it to trickle charge to get enough battery for it to start the system that ran the battery management.

Olivia Chow wants to ban ICE agents during FIFA World Cup in Toronto
2mon 29d ago in toronto@lemmy.ca from www.thestar.comIce does have more functions than domestic removal of brown people. It's the same reason ICE was in italy for the Olympics. But why would anyone trust them anymore even if they do provide services that would be useful?
I don't think she has much power here but I am happy she is standing up for this.
