How often does everyone else get sexually harassed by strangers?

2mon 17d ago in womensstuff@piefed.blahaj.zone

Honestly, almost never? And when I have received unsolicited attention, it has always been suuuuper mild - like, a guy cat calling across the street, but it has never escalated to more than that, and those are extremely rare occurences for me. Like, maybe once a year. This is one of those things that I don't really identify with other women on. I do believe this happens to other women, I am not trying to discount other women's experiences, but I have never had even one of occurrence of sexual harrassment in my life, let alone on a daily or weekly basis. I have always wondered why. Not that I am lamenting this, it just seems odd that something that seems to be such a pervasive problem for women everywhere is such a non-issue for me. Maybe I am not conventionally attractive enough to draw out this behavior from men? I am over 6' tall and while not fat or anything, I definitely look strong/sturdy and capable of defending myself. And I've been told I have rbf, too. So maybe guys just decide I don't look like the type to fuck with? I am also pretty severely introverted and spend very little time in public spaces, so maybe I just am not around people enough to even have this happen to me.. Idk 🤷‍♀️

Holy shit this hits so hard for me. In a good way. Was in a bad relationship a while back and got pregnant right toward the end of it. I did struggle with the decision to get an abortion because I was still in this stupid place of sugarcoating how bad he and I were together. But jfc I am SO RELIEVED every time I reflect back on that time and my decision to abort. If I hadn't, he 100% would still be fucking up my life today. Instead I am free ❤️

I'm out here and will def help run those ass backwards fucks over to Idaho

Lol, fair enough, here you go

Elements of this painting's landscape are reminding me of The Strid, a very dangerous section of the river Wharfe in the UK known for its incredibly high mortality rate for people who fall in. For me that's lending this painting a much more ominous feeling than the artist intended, though I do love spooky shit, so still into it
