At this rate, I'm leaning towards lemmy.zip or piefed.social. Neither of those instances are the target of defederation campaigns, so I can be sure this community will be accessible to everyone. I'm just a little concerned that either instance could shut down in the same manner as lemm.ee.

Does Piefed not list which instances are federated?

I saw this post just now.

I'm tempted to just move back to bluesky@lemmy.ml. I am not interested in constantly hopping between instances when one shuts down, and I know that lemmy.ml will stay up as long as Lemmy is still being maintained.

However, I moved to lemm.ee for a reason. I wanted to be on a large instance that's not associated with partisan politics. What are your guys' thoughts?
