Chekhov's gun - Wikipedia

1mon 11d ago in wikipedia from en.wikipedia.org

Once you’re aware of the concept of Chekhov’s gun, you start to instinctively spot devices that are meant to be called back later in the script and subconsciously anticipate them, making it a Pavlov-Chekhov gun.

But if the initial introduction of the Pavlov-Chekhov gun is too forced/obvious, you might feel compelled to turn off such a predictable movie before the device is recalled and you’ll never know if it was actually brought back. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t, maybe it exists in an unobserved quantum state… a Schrödinger-Pavlov-Chekhov gun.

electric pickups, am I chasing a unicorn?

Yeah, it’s looking like I’ll wait another year and take a look another look at production vehicles. I’m probably in way over my head thinking about conversion.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I'm US based. Sorry for making y'all assume.

I also like the idea of converting, but the quotes I got are from a few years ago. I should probably check again and see if there are new kit options. On top of the kit cost is finding a local shop that can handle the conversion. I'll keep exploring that route.

An ancient Wacom Intuos 3. Still works pretty well... the only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to map the 2 touch slider pads to something like opacity.

That's no coincidence. Metalocalypse just dropped the whole season 1 on youtube and while watching I realized that my friend's game character bears a resemblance.

I wouldn't say that in earshot of Atticus. He may not know what a yeti is, but he's likely to take offense.

That’s exactly what I based my character on, glad to hear it’s a good likeness.
