Whenever I see kids selling lemonade now, I think about how they are subsidized by their parents (you know they’re not buying those supplies at the store) and then I realize most grown adults who “start businesses” are subsidized by their parents as well. So what I’m saying is that lemonade stands are unfair. Also, I never carry cash and they rarely take Venmo.

I have heard this argument and agree with it. However… to use those services, you already have to dox yourself. You have to create an account (they nerf anonymous access to the point of unusability) and in doing so, link your name into the web of information these ad brokers and their ilk already have about you. And that is FAR MORE than any government-issued ID would provide.

So my immediate reaction to an ID requirement is “no way” but further thought reveals that it really doesn’t matter. The only way to win is not to play. None of those social media apps/sites are necessary, nobody has to use them.

Fourfold: announce “peace” deal, stocks go up, sell and make money. “Peace” deal falls through, stocks go down, buy low. Rinse and repeat.

He’s such a shit stain. And yet I’d rather have him 100 out of 100 times over trump, because he doesn’t have the ability insane personality cult. Nobody’s going to fly Vance flags or wear Vance hats. Sure, he’ll continue to destroy the country and any hope of a good life for the bottom 99%, but at least I won’t see constant reminders when I leave the house.
