Plastic hinges on modern headphones

Yeah, this is a huge problem. I found the best solution is to buy a 3.5mm audio cable with a microphone (these can be had for 10-20$) and attach them to a nice set of metal band headphones (closed or open depending on if you want sound isolation). I gave up on gaming, Sony headphones and the like a long time ago they are all trash no matter how much you pay for them, they break and become e-waste in the first year.

Pointless coding for the void

I would say one partial cure for this is to contribute to open source or if you are using open source in your projects see if you can get your company to allow you to contribute any fixes you have implemented up stream. Although at times rather than asking, I have fixed issues in a cpl of hours after work and pushed these up. But the simple fact is everything, even the most "advanced" projects eventually become obsolete, so I wouldn't worry about it, it is just part of working in tech.

Surprisingly despite the forums the game has a "Very Positive" review, which is probably what I would have given it after playing the demo.

I remember thinking the same thing when the Steam Box and other Steam devices were revealed in 2025 and saying to myself wow, this is even more of a reason to love what Valve is doing.

Just for those wondering, it seems a bit similar to Prince Of Persia the Lost Crown which I loved. I wish listed it.
