Insurance is always a technical gamble. If you need it for something moderate to big you'll easily run up a much higher bill than 5k. Could even be enough to eat the years of savings you had.

If you had paid that 5k that year, you'd still have your savings.

Have lifetime already. No reason to jump. Generally it just works.

No need to have another project while Plex still works fine.

I agree with the general decline but man every once in a while there is an episode that I can almost compare with the golden era. (Even if others disagree).

It's in the eye of the beholder. For me it's the pseudo realism of the feel of the storyline.
